  1. Please ask all new candidates starting with 1st. Ward Mr.Mario Camacho,If you were on the council went the vote when they were concidring the redesign of Queen Anne Square Park would you have done any thing differently before moving forward on the vote.Would you have Voted for or Against this project presented by Peter Roos? Ask charles Duncan why he opposed this project Q.A.S. redesign? Ask all others why they were for said.

    • Dale; We hope to be able to include your important question to our forum! I hope also that you will come join us to hear the answers to this and many more important questions we will be asking the candidates this Thursday October 18th at City Hall. This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30pm and the questions at 7pm! Please bring at least one friend or neighbor with you! We look forward to seeing you then.

      • Thank-you for the personal invite, that goes along way with the resident’s of Newport. The question I feel is very important an that project just broke ground aweek or so ago. This is A very important question in that it we give the citizens a insite on there views as A repesentive of the people and how they would attempt to shape our future destination of our City by the Sea.

        • Dale – Unfortunately, your question will not be on the forum program this Thursday. Our time is extremely limited and we have concentrated on issues that are to be resolved in the future. I hope you have read all of the questions and the candidate’s answers posted on our website. The forum questions will be new to them but some of the issues will be similar.
